Service of process is critical for your court case to move forward. Modoc Legal Services works with some of the best registered process servers in Northern California. Our process servers have been in business for many years, and know what to do in order to get your documents served to the right individuals.
In order to serve your documents, we will need the following:

• All necessary information, including the name of the individual(s) to be served, descriptions, home and work addresses (if known), make and model of vehicle they drive (if known), etc.
• A complete set of documents to be served, including a blank Proof of Service if the court in which your case is filed reqyuires a form different than the standard California.
• Payment for the serve is complete (see our Payments page).

We will attempt same day or within twenty-four hours if you should need the serve completed on a "rush" basis. Most of our serves go out same day regardless of asking the serve to be treated as a rush.

We will attempt service until such time as your documents are served on all parties, or the serve is cancelled.

Fees for the service of process vary, so please contact our office so that we may quote you a specific price, or you can fillout the Process Service Request form, and once we receive it, we will email or call you to discuss fees.
